Party Themes

Choose a theme to suit your birthday personality! Themes are listed in order of story sophistication. Please call to consult about age appropriateness. All themes can be tailored for any number of guests, mixed age groups, and are appropriate for single gender or mixed gender groups.

The Fairy’s Picnic (recommended for ages 3 & up)
The fairies have gathered in the woods to prepare a wonderful picnic for their friends. As they leave to deliver their invitations, the jealous elves play a shameful trick on the fairies. Will the elves realize their mistake and save the fairy’s tea party?

A Princess Picnic (recommended for ages 3 & up)
“The Fairy’s Picnic” can be adapted into a “A Princess Picnic,” but all children need to come already dressed as the Princess (or Prince) of their choice – we can’t provide costumes for this theme, so please make sure your guests know to wear their own royal finery to the party.

Bear Snores On (recommended for ages 3 & up)
Bear is sleeping through the winter in his cozy den when his woodland friends all come in! Will Bear snore right through the party or will he get to join in the fun?

Where the Wild Things Are (recommended for ages 3 & up)
Maurice Sendak’s timeless treasure about Max, King of the Wild Things, and his band of misfit monsters lives on! Join the adventure as you run, jump, play and growl your way across the stage.

Pete the Cat (recommended for ages 3 & up)
Pete the Cat loves his white shoes! When things go wrong, he just keeps walking along and singing his song. Join us for song and dance as party guests become Pete the Cat and go for a colorful walk that ends up being ALL GOOD!

Sleeping Beauty (recommended for ages 5 & up)
All of the fairies in the kingdom gather to celebrate the birth of a princess. But someone forgot to invite Thistle, the 13th Fairy! She casts an evil spell on the lovely Sleeping Beauty and her kingdom. Only a brave prince can save the day!

How I Became A Pirate (recommended for ages 5 & up)
Sail away on a high seas adventure as your birthday boy/girl is swept away by a group of pirates hoping to bury treasure, as we celebrate local author Melinda Long’s book “How I Became a Pirate.” Don’t be left ashore!

Little Red Riding Hood Lost In Fairytale Land (recommended for ages 6 & up)
Little Red Riding Hood has lost her story. She finds one of the 3 Little Pigs, Snow White and the Evil Queen, even a mysterious wizard! Will Gleek, manager of Fairytale Land, and the Fairytale Fairies get her back to Grandma’s house?

Fairly Stupid Tales (recommended for ages 7 & up)
Classic fairy tales twisted up by award-winning children’s author, Jon Scieszka, come to life onstage. The Stinky Cheese Man, The Frog Prince Continued and the True Story of The Three Little Pigs offer a wild adventure for all of your aspiring actors!

Improv Party! (recommended for ages 9 & up)
Whose line is it? Yours! Actors will get a quick lesson in improvisation for performance. Then they will learn several game formats to share. When the audience comes in to give suggestions, the fun begins!
