Ages: For this audition, we are looking for students ages 10-18. All adult roles have been cast.
Style: Musical. Requires triple threat actors.
Audition dates: September 8, 6:00-9:30pm & September 9, 9am-4:30pm, appointment required.
Callbacks: Callbacks will be held on Monday, September 18 at 6:30pm.
Preparation: Auditionees should prepare 16-32 bar cut of a memorized song from a musical. You must bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. No one will be allowed to sing acapella. Click here if you need more information on how to choose and audition with a song.
Rehearsal schedule: First rehearsal/orientation will be Sunday, October 1 from 1:00-6:00pm—everyone will be called. Rehearsal will typically be held Sunday afternoons and Monday-Thursday evenings, though not everyone will be called to every rehearsal. Tech week begins November 11.

ROLES AND ACTOR BREAKDOWN:
All adult roles have been cast.
Principal Roles:
Jane Banks— Should read 11, but can be older; the high-spirited daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Banks, is bright and precocious but can be willful and inclined to snobbishness. Child soprano.
Michael Banks – The cute and cheeky son of Mr. and Mrs. Banks; excitable and naughty, he adores his father and tries to be like him; both he and Jane misbehave in order to get the attention of their parents. Male child voice, unbroken.
Ensemble Roles:
Open to all ages, an ensemble of actors plays a variety of roles. All ensemble members must sing and dance. Musical theatre dancers proficient in tap (chimney sweeps) are strongly encouraged to audition.
