Ages: for this production, we are looking for actors 12 years old and up.

Adult Contracts: for this production, twenty paid contracts are available for adult actors.

Style: Contemporary Musical. Requires triple threat performers with fun, vibrant energy. Some roles include tap dancing.

Audition dates: September 8, 6:00-9:30pm & September 9, 9am-4:30pm, appointment required.

Callbacks: Callbacks will occur on Sunday, September 10 at varied times, more info soon.

Preparation: Actors should prepare a 16 or 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song (contemporary musical theatre is preferred, but not required). You must bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. No one will be allowed to sing acapella. Click here if you need more information on how to choose and audition with a song.

Rehearsal schedule: First rehearsal/orientation will be March 10, from 1:00-6:00pm—everyone will be called. Rehearsal will typically be held Sunday afternoons and Monday-Thursday evenings, though not everyone will be called to every rehearsal. Tech week begins April 20.

  • SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: An optimistic and energetic sponge
  • PATRICK STAR: Always striving to explore new things but lacks common sense and is, at times, clueless.
  • SANDY CHEEKS: A smart squirrel from Texas who remains by SpongeBob’s side to give counsel.
  • SQUIDWARD Q. TENTACLES: A cynical, short-tempered squid.
    • Note: This role requires tap dancing.
  • EUGENE H. KRABS: The money hungry owner of the Krusty Krab.
  • SHELDON J. PLANKTON: A scheming character who yearns for Mr. Krabs’ success. Still a tender side when speaking with his wife.
