At SCCT, we believe in the transformative power of theatre and in no age group is that magic more tangible than in preschool! SCCT offers a number of low-pressure, hands-on theatre experiences, perfect for children in these formative years. Whether planning a field trip, or looking for in-school performances, SCCT can come alongside you to provide a wonderful theatre experience for your students.

Despite the scheduling challenges we’re all experiencing due to COVID-19, we are putting our creative minds to work as we brainstorm creative alternatives to continue serving you and your students safely.

Our Mission

The mission of South Carolina Children's Theatre is to educate and stimulate the minds and imaginations of young people and their families through participation in high-quality theatre, year-round education, and accessible outreach.

Support Us

Established in 1987, SCCT is the largest year-round children's theatre in the state of South Carolina. We are very fortunate that we earn 64% of our budget. For the remaining 36%, we turn to you for support.
