We plan to journey Into the Unknown, exploring the exciting music AND GIRL POWER! of both Frozen and Frozen 2. We’ll discuss the character traits of courage, strength and discovering your gifts as they pertain to Elsa and Ana while diving into the significance of family and friendship in our own lives. We will select 2-3 songs to perform while incorporating others into exercises and games. Don’t worry, we’ll spend time with Olaf, Kristoff and, of course, Sven too! A great class for boys & girls who enjoy singing or would like to learn.
A good class for students who may be new to the musical theatre genre or who really love to sing. Training teaches basic vocal and dance skills. Students don’t have to be able to read music, but should enjoy the idea of singing and moving. The class will focus on basic music terminology, basic movement, and how to express emotion while singing. This class promotes ensemble performance skills as well as helps students feel more comfortable at musical auditions. Parents will be invited to observe the final portion of the final class.
Students are asked to bring water bottles and wear clothing they can move in. We ask that students wear shoes that stay on their feet and are comfortable for movement exercises and games.
