Workday Workshops | K5-5th

Friday, April 7 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $50
Monday, April 10 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $50

So… Mom and Dad don’t have a break even though your school does.  Come to SCCT and play with us!  Games and activities are designed to keep students engaged and entertained with exercises and activities used in our regular session classes exploring group problem solving, being seen and heard in front of an audience, areas of the stage, character development, etc.  These workshops are meant to engage the child in a group environment while giving parents some guilt-free time to get their own work/appointments done. These classes are more general and aren’t themed per day, but will allow for a range of ages/interests and may also include craft time. Designed to keep excited kids active and having fun on teacher workdays and school holidays. There will be no “sharing” recording for parents, but plenty of fun and socialization for the kids! *Please provide a nut-free snack, beverage, and a packed lunch for your child.

Kid’s Night Out! | K4-5th

RAINBOWS & MOONBEAMS Friday, April 14 | 6:00 – 10:00 PM | Mia Phillips | $30

If you’re in need of a date night downtown or maybe just some grown-up time to stream your own movie or get uninterrupted work done, just drop the kids off at the South Carolina Children’s Theatre and let them enjoy a fun evening of their own! We’ll start the night with drama activities for a wide range of ages and experience levels, and then we’ll play crafts, enjoy a snack of milk and cookies* and snuggle down for the evening to watch a movie. Make sure they have their favorite blankets and pillows-we hope to have them in sleepy-mode by the time you pick them up. *Standard supermarket cookies and regular milk will be provided.  Please supply your own snack if food allergies are a concern.

Saturday Morning Mania | K4-5th

ISLAND ADVENTURES — Saturday, April 15 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Mia Phillips | $30

These morning workshops are meant to engage the child in a group environment, but are also to allow the parent some guilt free time to get their own work/appointments done. There will be no “sharing” for parents, just a bunch of socialization and interaction for the younger set.

We’ll start the morning with drama activities for a wide range of ages and experience levels, and then we’ll create something appropriate to the theme, have a picnic lunch and maybe even watch part of a movie. *Please provide a nut-free snack and beverage as well as a packed lunch for your child.
