Enrollment and Student Information

Tuition and Registration

Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.  Registration for classes, workshops and summer camps are online. Please note: Early enrollment discount does not apply to partial payments or workshops.

Please contact Anna Bowman at 864.235.2885 x105 if you prefer not to register online, trouble with online registration, or to discuss payment arrangements. Scholarships are available.

Enrollment discount options

If you pay before the noted deadline, you will automatically receive an early enrollment discount. This discount is not applicable towards workshops or Winter mini-mester Classes.

Refunds/Cancellation

If you cancel no later than 10 days before your first class, tuition less a $30 Class Cancellation Fee will be refunded. If you cancel less than 10 days before class begins, no refund or credit will be issued. Fees for classes cannot be transferred to other sessions. SCCT reserves the right to cancel classes that have not met enrollment minimums before the first class. Classes, faculty, and schedule are subject to change.

Class Sizes

Class sizes are limited to keep the classes enjoyable and comfortable for your student. Please register early to ensure a spot, as registrations are held on a first paid basis.

K3-K5 Students

All students must be able to use the bathroom completely by themselves as needed.  SCCT Teachers/Assistants will not change diapers or assist inside the bathroom stall with wiping or dressing.  We have discovered that very young kids who may not be familiar with public restrooms, benefit from their parent showing them, on the first day, how our self-flushing toilets work.

Supervision

Adult supervision begins no earlier than 5 minutes before class start time and ends no more than 5 minutes after class end time. Please do not enter the Education Lobby prior to 5 minutes before YOUR class time.

All students will be walked out to the car pick up line at the end of their class.  Please line up for your class pickup no earlier than 5 minutes before your class end time—we have multiple classes releasing throughout the day and a fairly small area for cars to line up without blocking traffic on Augusta St.  Simply park in our lot until it is time to line up. We do not allow students to walk to a parked car without a parent to escort them from the sidewalk. And we do not allow a student to leave the property without written permission from the parent—please send that directly to your teacher.

Medical Policy

If we are unable to contact a parent, or if time does not permit, we will use the 911 service. Expenses incurred will be paid by the parent or legal guardian.

End-of-Session “Sharings”

Due to limited space for audiences in our classrooms, we will record the end-of-semester “sharing” for classes and send parent’s the video link allowing each family to celebrate their child’s performance at a time convenient for everyone in the family and making it possible to easily share with distant family members. Our “sharings” are informal performances. Our goal is to engage the students in preparing for the low-pressure performance, without causing undo anxiety and also not spending every minute of class time solely repeating rehearsals. The “sharings” will not be highly polished and will be very low tech as our primary goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable class experience, filled with group interaction and fun.
