Traysie Amick, SCCT’s Principal Teaching Artist, shares her high energy and child-friendly interpretation of favorite children’s stories with our audiences at our downtown theatre. It’s a great literacy connection and a sweet treat for your students, performed in our Prisma Health Lobby, located at 153 Augusta Street (across the street from Gather GVL) – a chance for wee ones (pre-K to early elementary) to hear a favorite story read and acted out! The material often includes audience participation or simple interaction and will last no longer than 30 minutes – perfect for young, wiggly patrons.
Please Note: Our parking lot fee will be waived for patrons of Tell Me A Story Theatre.
**Please Note! Lobby doors will not open until 15 minutes before the performance time! Please remain in your cars, visit GATHER across the street or play in the grass behind the theatre.**
FREE! Reservations are not required.
SCCT is committed to the health and safety of our patrons, casts, crews, students, and staff. Masks are optional but recommended, especially for unvaccinated or immunocompromised. Click here to see our current precautions.
